Youth Ministry: Partnering with Crossroads Farm
At First Church of Christ, we are excited to partner with Crossroads Farm to offer a dynamic youth ministry for students in 6th through 12th grade. Crossroads Farm is a rural, cooperative youth ministry founded in 1999 in Hillsdale County, Michigan. Today, they have three branches, and The Mine in Cadiz, OH serves the youth of Harrison County and the surrounding area. Crossroads Farm desires for every secondary student in our surrounding area to hear the Gospel of Christ and have the opportunity to say “yes” or “no” to that message. Their desire is to create a space where students can grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and experience the transformative love of God.
Programs & Events:
- Weekly Program: Every Sunday from 6:30-8:30pm (September-May), students dive into an exciting night filled with high-energy games, live music, an inspiring message, and a whole lot of fun! It’s a place where students can hang out with friends, get real about life, and grow in their relationship with God. Transportation is available throughout the county and details can be found on their social media.
- Special Events: Throughout the year, students can look forward to thrilling events like a Murder Mystery, Winter Retreat, Summer Camp, and Experience Trips—each one designed to be an unforgettable experience that deepens their faith and bonds with others.

The Mine is led by Ministry Director Luke Marshall and Administrative Director Carrie Olson, alongside an amazing team of volunteers who are passionate about serving students and guiding them on their faith journey.
