Few things are more exciting than growth. It’s exhilarating to see our gardens grow and even more wonderful to watch our children grow. Growth is exciting, natural and challenging at the same time.
The Bible tells us how we are all to grow. Eph 4:15 tells us we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. Growing up to be like Christ is our goal.
My prayer is that you might grow in your faith and knowledge of Jesus Christ and that you might accept him as your Lord and Savior. If you are already a follower of Jesus Christ, my prayer is that you would come and grow with us as we worship, apply God’s word to our lives and serve others. And while you might not be able to “see” this growth, it can be experienced in our gatherings and witnessed in our lives. May you grow with us in your faith, love and service of Jesus Christ.
ABOUT PASTOR PAUL
Pastor Paul grew up in Cadiz and moved away at the age of 18. For many years he pursued a degree in psychology and worked as a social worker in mental health fields. Following God’s call, Paul quit his job as a social worker and obtained his master’s degree from Ashland Theological Seminary with a focus in leadership and worship. When his home church called him to come back, Paul moved back to Cadiz 20 years from the very weekend he had moved away. Paul has been serving the First Church of Christ in Cadiz since 2005. He loves the church and loves the community. Paul has worked with numerous organizations in the area to help others know about Jesus.
