Eddie Banks
Elder
I began attending FCC at a young age and have always considered FCC Cadiz my home. Over the years I drifted in and out of church, in 2011 I felt a strong calling for change in my life and recommitted myself to God’s calling at FCC. I began serving in outreach ministry before being asked to serve as Elder. I feel led to serve in the role as an Elder which allows me to fulfill God’s calling to teach, lead and preach His word. I am thankful for the FCC Church family that has always provided support to me and my family, it is an honor to serve God alongside this amazing church family. To God be the Glory!
I cannot recall the exact time I was ordained as an Elder.

Ed Banks Senior
Deacon
I began attending the Church of Christ in mid-1979. I was subsequently baptized on November 19th, by the current Church Evangelist and Pastor Glen Bias. A little later on, Glen also officiated my marriage to my wife Mary. For over 20 years I taught the youth group in Sunday School, and somewhere in those years, I was ordained by the then-church Elders Paul Giffin Senior, Al Mattern, and Wayne Thompson.
The youth group was a pleasure to work with in and out of Sunday School. Together we developed a Drama Club and presented plays based on Bible history. At one time we took the play of the crucifixion to Glen Bias’ church up near Columbia County.
Another of my early fond memories from that time period was going to the Church Camp, Elkhorn Valley in Bergholz to play softball every Sunday through the summer and early fall.
Favorite Verse
One of my favorite verses of the Bible is found in John 8:12 where it states:
"Jesus is the Light of the World!"
As a young person in another church, I was required to learn and recite this verse over and over, along with several other verses.

I grew up at this church since I was born. I always attended Sunday School and Junior Worship. I am a proud graduate of Harrison Central. I have been a Deacon for two years.
Favorite Verse
“ This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

Debbie Kenny
Treasurer
I have always attended church. I grew up attending Unionport Christian Church, a sister church, we often attended the same revivals, August meetings, 5th Sunday singspirations and such. In 2011 I began attending Cadiz First Church of Christ and transferred my membership in the spring of 2013. When Emma Giffin retired the elders asked if I would consider taking the treasurer position because of my banking experience, I was happy to accept the position. I also enjoy helping with the video portion of our worship service.
Favorite Verse
My favorite verse right now is Colossians 4:6.
“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”

Mindy Cline

In August of 2016, Jerry and I wanted to start attending church and we had every intention of visiting several churches but FCC was our first and last church. We immediately felt welcomed here and this feels like home to us. We were baptized March 8, 2017 and feel blessed to have such a wonderful church family.
I have served as office manager for FCC since June 2023.
